Frequently Asked Question
Why are regular exams important for diabetics?
Diabetes can affect the small blood vessels in the eyes, sometimes without early warning signs. Regular eye exams allow us to detect changes before they impact vision, helping to protect sight and overall health. Early detection means timely treatment and peace of mind.
Does my child need glasses?
Children don’t always realize when they’re struggling to see clearly. Signs may include squinting, sitting very close to screens, or difficulty concentrating at school. A comprehensive eye exam is the best way to know for sure—and to support your child’s learning and development.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
Please bring your current glasses or contact lenses, along with a list of any medications you take and your medical aid details. If you have diabetes or other health conditions, let our optometrist know so we can tailor your care. For added convenience, we are equipped to perform glucose and blood pressure testing right here in the practice.
What parking/disability facilities are available at the practice?
We offer convenient, reserved on-site parking, right next to the practice. Our practice is wheelchair accessible, with ramps and wide doorways to ensure easy entry. If you need assistance, our team will be happy to help from the moment you arrive.
